Tornado watch over: The continuing saga of why I hate Biloxi.

So yeah... last night a tornado watch was issued until 7am this morning - phew! No tornados here... just A TON OF HOT, NASTY RAIN! YUCK! I HATE RAIN!

Today in class, we wrapped up our first series of lab applications. Lots of geeky stuff such as creating LANs, campus networks, VLANs, multi-layer switching, and HSRP (like I said, geeky stuff). Tomorrow, I have my first of four tests - it should be pretty easy. This first block pretty much covered a lot of technology with which I am familiar. None-the-less, my classmates and I are going meet up for a group study some time after dinner.

So, in case you didn't know, Keesler AFB practices compressed work-weeks every other week so that they can have a three-day weekend on the alternating weeks (Does that sound right?). This weekend happens to be my first three day weekend here. With much thanks to my old man's graciousness I'll be flying out to meet him and the rest of my family in Tucson for my cousin's Quinceanera (a mexican girl's sweet sixteen - but really, it's a sweet fifteen). Rock-on old man!!! I'll be flying out of New Orleans; unfortunately, I just found out that the local shuttle from here in Biloxi no longer services New Orleans Airport. Just a minor incident... I'm sure I'll be able to find my way there, regardless.

Not much else happening here.
