Since I've been giving my health the attention that it needs, I've dropped a solid ten-pounds. This isn't weight dropped suddenly, but rather weight that has been slowly lost since my arrival in November. I seriously am not interested in rapid weight loss - it's not healthy and [let's face it] I don't have the metabolism to accomplish such a feat anymore. My goal is lose an additional twenty-pounds in the next four months; not a lofty goal, but one within reason.
My exercise routine has been steady and [thanks to my new Squadron] my cardio program is now performed prior to my strength-building program... NOT AT ALL EASY! On my down days, I am considering lap swimming on the strong recommendation from a good friend.
On the food side of the house, I've taken on the challenge to learn how to prepare health-hearty meals which aide in lowering LDL cholesterol, especially since I am no longer taking Zocor (simvistatin). Of course, the challenge is not too difficult... it's just that I want to learn how to with culinary-flair.
