Good morning!

Man, am I well rested! This week was rather challenging mentally and called for a great deal of time management. Of course, by weeks end, I was exhausted. Last night, after I ate dinner, I did nothing - by choice. As a matter of fact, I fell asleep somewhere around 7pm, woke up lying on my couch around 7:30pm, and went straight to my bed. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, I awoke this morning at 6am! It's very rare that I do such things (sleeping more than eight hours), but when it happens it's very necessary. I can say that physically I've been slightly more active this week as I've starting running 5K's and sprinting 400meters (outside and not on a treadmill). I've always been okay on long distances and have sufficient endurance; it's the sprinting that always kills me. I accepted long ago, that my body frame and foot type is not meant for speed - no matter how much I train and what type of running shoes I use to compensate.

Anyhoo... I digress. Shortly after I woke up, I went to the kitchen and made some coffee, poured my cup and went out onto my balcony; it's beautful outside! I thought of my Mom-Olivia (grandma). When she would visit us in California, she always enjoyed her first cup of coffee sitting outside, enjoying the sun and the scenery. I've always enjoyed that about her and and have taken to the same. The cool thing is I can now write her an email and tell her about it! (Aunt Ruth hooked her up with an email account).
